Roll on a year later and Gemma is looking for that very special family who will care for her for the rest of her life. All her ailments have been dealt with and now all she needs is a home that is willing to keep up her contraceptive injections twice a year (she can’t be sterilised for safety reasons) and regularly clean her ears.
Gemma’s a very loving and cuddly girl, who just wants a lap to put her head on!
An enclosed garden would be important and she’s good with other dogs her size or larger…she’s not very fond of small dogs. She’s fine with cats and travels well in the car.
If she has a fault (although a very endearing one) it’s that she likes to sing for her supper!! She gets quite excited when food or treats are being prepared. She is not a barker, although does like to give you a telling-off when you get home, should you leave her!!
Gemma has been wormed, vaccinated and de-flead, is fully house-trained and quite a character! Let’s hope that her previous hard life is over with now and a kindly soul will love this girl forever more.
She has now been sterilised…..and come through safely! Yay!!!
Though a donation for Gemma would be welcome, a loving, permanent home for her is more important than money. If you want more information, please contact her foster mum Yvonne at email@example.com Dept 87 or you can call Yvonne on 06 02 38 20 70
