Please meet Amazing Maisy!

Maisy is everything you’d want in an older dog – she’s friendly with everyone, including cats, other friendly dogs, her food and best of all, when she gets to know you better and trusts you, she is very affectionate! She’s house-trained, can be left alone and doesn’t attack the sofa or your shoes when you’re gone. She just quietly waits for you to come back. And last but not least, she’s beautiful – look at those eyes!

In spite of her age, she’s just turned 12, she is active and fit, plays with her toys,  loves to go for walkies and can, if left to her own devices, go walk-about in the area, so for the first period, an enclosed garden will be needed. She never goes far and always comes back, but it’s best to make her get used to your environment in a safe way first.

Maisy has been shipped around alot so she’s longing for a permanent home where she’s able to live inside and can finally become an integral part of the family. She is very happy to follow you around and sleep near to you. She’s never in your face but enjoys keeping you company and occasionally talking to you! If offered a cookie she will take that very gently, never snatching it. There are no aggression issues, not even when taking away her bowl or bone. Drives in the car are very  much appreciated!

In the colder weather, her hind quarters can become a bit stiff but it’s nothing that a bit of Devil’s relief or Chondroflex can’t cure. She will warn you when there are strangers coming to the house, she will bark, but never in an aggressive way. She is a true Labrit that will show you true devotion if you’ll give her a chance.

Maisy is a tad overweight at the moment, but her current diet is showing good results.

Maisy has been sterilized, chipped, vaccinated and treated for fleas, ticks and worms.

If you have any questions or would like to meet Maisy please contact Christine (details above).

An adoption contribution, in line with vet bills and other expenses incurred, will be asked for.
