This little girl was found wandering in our village of Coux. The marie accepted her into their kennel whilst posters with photographs were put up all around the area and notices placed on the Lost & Found websites. Nobody came to claim her. The local vets did not recognise her and she was without any form of identification. Perhaps she was abandoned by some tourist here for the summer season?
Pippa enjoyed her stay at the marie as she was made a great fuss of, allowed to come into the offices and taken on lots of walks by the staff. They all liked her very much, calling her friendly and docile. They asked Phoenix to find her a new home.
Pippa has mixed in with all our other dogs although she is greedy for attention. She begs to have all the pats and tickles so we explain she has to share. Her favourite place is up on the kitchen sofa next to us.
Vet cannot find a sterilisation scar and suggests Phoenix wait to see if she comes into season
Pippa does not wish to play with the puppy we are fostering, she is rather too dignified for that. She adores being taken for a walk and goes very well on the lead. She is house trained too. It seems she comes from somewhere where she did have a good home. I wonder how she came to be lost.
Poor Pippa is rather confused and sad just now. She really needs a place to belong once again where she will receive all the loving care and attention she longs for and certainly deserves!
Pippa is chipped, treated against all parasites and vaccinated.
